This week was actually pretty good we did pretty much nothing in any class, the only times we actually had class was on Monday and Tuesday and we did not do much either way. Thursday and Friday we had free periods for pretty much every class so this week I didn’t find myself exercising my virtues too much. I also did not go to basketball the entire week only on Monday the rest of the week I couldn’t go because I had things to do after school. If anything I exercised my patience this week because I had to wait until it was Friday and Winter Break was coming, other than that this week was actually pretty good but I could not get to exercise  my virtues too much.
This week was decent I was mostly waiting for Wednesday though cause I got to go to the Heat Arena for the first time, better yet play on the court, although we lost it was still a great experience. We actually managed to not have any quizzes or tests this week too so that even better and Friday we pretty much didn’t do anything for any class overall a pretty good week. As for virtues my patience was exercised as I was patient for Wednesday to come on Monday and patient to be put in to play at the court. When I was put in my commitment was also exercised as I tried to at least tie the game for my team but we ended up losing. I noticed my virtues are actually improving, for example I have become a lot more patient, I hope they continue to do so.
This week was pretty much the same as last week, lot of homework on some days and other days barely any homework, we also only had like one test which I am pretty sure I got an A in. I finished the test like 10 minutes early so I guess I exercised my patience, and I was determined to pass the test so I also exercised that virtue. Outside of school wise we had a game on Friday which was very close, we ended up losing by 4 points but it was a very good game considering we were down by about 15 points at one point. I was patient and waited till I was put in to play and when we did we contributed a lot to the comeback we made I scored 4 points in the 2 minutes I got to play since I am a freshmen and that allowed for the team to make the comeback.
This week was not that bad, we kinda had a lot of homework but we had enough days to do it. We only had 1 test and I did hella good on it and I didn’t even have to study too much for it. While I was taking the test though there was only one question that at first I didn’t know and I didn’t think I would but I was committed to figure it out and determined to get a max grade on the test which was an 120, In the end I was able to figure it out and I got an 118. I was a little mad that I lost 2 points but whatever. In basketball we had our second game after winning the first although I am a freshman and we usually don’t play in games I was patient and my coach put me to play in the second game and I did pretty good so more opportunities are to come.
This week was alright, not too much homework and for once not a single quiz just one test for the week. This test didn’t require too much studying either so it was fine, I found myself not exercising my virtues too much inside of school though, except for when I had to study for the test in which I had to be committed to actually study for it because I was close to not actually studying. However I mostly exercised my virtues outside of school in sports. I have been improving in the new position my coach gave me a lot and I have been committed and determined to continue improving, our first game is on Monday and I need to get to the level of playing that will be needed to win. Lastly Thanksgiving break is right around the corner and next week will not be too difficult.
This week was actually pretty good for once, we barely had any homework and we had no school on Tuesday and Friday. We also only had one quiz which compared to most weeks is amazing. I however did find any opportunities inside of school, however outside of school I was actually able to practice my virtues. In basketball  my patience, which has improved a lot was again practiced, my coach made us run plenty of laps since we kept messing up on what he wanted us to do, and although we sometimes didn’t actually mess up I decided to not say anything and run anyways. I also practiced my commitment and determination, my coach put me in a position where I usually never play and he told me I had to learn that position, so I was committed to learn that position and determined to become good at it.
This week was pretty good, not doing too much in classes since it was a new grading period and not getting any homework for the first few, which was hella surprising since that never happens. On Thursday though I barely had time to sleep because I had a debate competition on Friday and I had to prepare for it, and then wake up at around 5 am to get ready because it was about a 2 hour drive. My patience was really put to the test bot only because I got almost no sleep but also because the competition was so long and so boring that I had to sit in a room for about 7 hours talking about the things I had been preparing for. I honestly much have rather been in school because it was so damn boring, my virtue of patience has been developing a lot these few weeks.
This week was filled with Tests. We had 4 tests this week since it was the end of the grading period. Thursday and Friday though we had basically a free period for every class.  Since it was the last week of grades I had to talk to some teachers about grades that they had not put and I almost got an 80 on a test that I should have gotten a 95 at least so I talked to the teacher and it was brought up to a 90 not what I wanted but good enough to end up with an A for the class. This week definitely put my commitment up to the test I had to study 4 different days for 4 different tests and it not only required for me to be very committed but I also had to be patient enough to sit and study each subject for at least an hour.
This week was full of Tests and quizzes and some quizzes were not even mentioned. I spent more time having to study then I did doing my homework which was not a lot but if you include hours of studying it was about 3 hours. My patience was again put up to the test and it has been improving a lot actually in my previous years I would never have been able to stare at notes for hours but this week I had to since we had around 3 tests. This week I also had to be committed, I had to study for 2 hours for each test and to be honest I was half asleep to most of the studying. Next week might be worse than this week though because we have 5 tests, fun…
This week was chill we didn’t have too much homework, and just one quiz and a test which is better than most weeks. On Wednesday we had a PSAT which put my patience up to the test, I could sit in a room for 3 and a half hours doing worked and being focused. I was able to make it past through it and it was not too bad I had about enough time to finish every question and I was focused through it all. I also had to be determined not only on the PSAT but also on a physics test that we had today. I knew all of it but I made a really dumb mistake which I only realized until after I got home. I hope we keep getting not too much homework for at least the rest of this quarter.
This week was about the same as last week except we had a test on Friday at the end of the week. I was fully committed to passing the test so I spent about an hour studying for it. I was also more patient in geometry since I understood a problem and while we were solving it I had to wait until everyone else understood the problem so I have been becoming more patient. This week we did not have an excessive amount of homework but we did have to study for the test. I hope all weeks are like this (homework wise) because I can get home and relax instead of getting home and having to start my homework immediately. T
This week was a bit better than last week in terms of quizzes and tests. We barely had any quizzes or tests so I did not spend too much time having to study. However we did have a lot of homework like essays and a lot of questions.  I had to be determined to finish the homework because otherwise I would have never finished. My patience has been improving since I have had to be patient a lot this week, for example I finished a quiz which was very easy for me yet I had to be patient and wait for all my other classmates to finish which took about 20 minutes. I hope we get a bit less homework for the following weeks because I am lacking sleep and that is not good.
Throughout the week I was able to exercise my virtue a little bit.  While I was a t school I tried to understand my friends and classmates better. At home I also was more understanding with my parents. Another virtue that I exercised was commitment, I usually am not committed to studying but this week I was committed to studying for all the quizzes and tests that we had. I was also determined to passing the quizzes and tests so I was determined to get a passing grade. I was able to exercise all of my virtues this week not only with others and my family but with myself I was understanding, determined, and committed.
Randy Martinez In a matter of a week I feel like I did not have enough time to exercise my virtues.  Within 5 days I have been focused on school more than anything and an opportunity has no really come up for me to fully exercise my virtues.  In order for me to exercise determination for example I must be fully committed to trying to be a good person because I must be determined to helping out. At school I will try to exercise my virtues but there has not been the opportunity to do so. I have been trying to be more understanding when I talk to people so I have been attempting to exercise that virtue. In more time I will be able to fully exercise my virtues on and off school but for now no opportunity has come up.
