My Week Progress

In this first blog ill be talking about my journey as a high school basketball player, it has been 2 months since our season started and we have had a total of 4 games, out of those 4 games we have won 2 and lost 2, although to be honest we could have won all 4 of them. Our team is pretty good, we are capable of beating every team in the conference in my opinion. Our starting 5 consist of me, 3 seniors, and a junior, in which everyone plays an important role in winning including the second unit, when we all play our role the winning becomes much simpler. This week we had 2 games one on Tuesday which resulted in a loss and one Today which I am hoping will results in a win.
This week was actually pretty good we did pretty much nothing in any class, the only times we actually had class was on Monday and Tuesday and we did not do much either way. Thursday and Friday we had free periods for pretty much every class so this week I didn’t find myself exercising my virtues too much. I also did not go to basketball the entire week only on Monday the rest of the week I couldn’t go because I had things to do after school. If anything I exercised my patience this week because I had to wait until it was Friday and Winter Break was coming, other than that this week was actually pretty good but I could not get to exercise  my virtues too much.
This week was decent I was mostly waiting for Wednesday though cause I got to go to the Heat Arena for the first time, better yet play on the court, although we lost it was still a great experience. We actually managed to not have any quizzes or tests this week too so that even better and Friday we pretty much didn’t do anything for any class overall a pretty good week. As for virtues my patience was exercised as I was patient for Wednesday to come on Monday and patient to be put in to play at the court. When I was put in my commitment was also exercised as I tried to at least tie the game for my team but we ended up losing. I noticed my virtues are actually improving, for example I have become a lot more patient, I hope they continue to do so.
This week was pretty much the same as last week, lot of homework on some days and other days barely any homework, we also only had like one test which I am pretty sure I got an A in. I finished the test like 10 minutes early so I guess I exercised my patience, and I was determined to pass the test so I also exercised that virtue. Outside of school wise we had a game on Friday which was very close, we ended up losing by 4 points but it was a very good game considering we were down by about 15 points at one point. I was patient and waited till I was put in to play and when we did we contributed a lot to the comeback we made I scored 4 points in the 2 minutes I got to play since I am a freshmen and that allowed for the team to make the comeback.
This week was not that bad, we kinda had a lot of homework but we had enough days to do it. We only had 1 test and I did hella good on it and I didn’t even have to study too much for it. While I was taking the test though there was only one question that at first I didn’t know and I didn’t think I would but I was committed to figure it out and determined to get a max grade on the test which was an 120, In the end I was able to figure it out and I got an 118. I was a little mad that I lost 2 points but whatever. In basketball we had our second game after winning the first although I am a freshman and we usually don’t play in games I was patient and my coach put me to play in the second game and I did pretty good so more opportunities are to come.
This week was alright, not too much homework and for once not a single quiz just one test for the week. This test didn’t require too much studying either so it was fine, I found myself not exercising my virtues too much inside of school though, except for when I had to study for the test in which I had to be committed to actually study for it because I was close to not actually studying. However I mostly exercised my virtues outside of school in sports. I have been improving in the new position my coach gave me a lot and I have been committed and determined to continue improving, our first game is on Monday and I need to get to the level of playing that will be needed to win. Lastly Thanksgiving break is right around the corner and next week will not be too difficult.
This week was actually pretty good for once, we barely had any homework and we had no school on Tuesday and Friday. We also only had one quiz which compared to most weeks is amazing. I however did find any opportunities inside of school, however outside of school I was actually able to practice my virtues. In basketball  my patience, which has improved a lot was again practiced, my coach made us run plenty of laps since we kept messing up on what he wanted us to do, and although we sometimes didn’t actually mess up I decided to not say anything and run anyways. I also practiced my commitment and determination, my coach put me in a position where I usually never play and he told me I had to learn that position, so I was committed to learn that position and determined to become good at it.
